I've spent my career living in two worlds that rarely talk to each other: enterprise IT governance and hands-on product building. On one side, I've directed technology at scale — most recently overseeing a $700M annual IT portfolio at Southern California Edison and leading the Agile transformation of a 2,000-person IT organization (0 to 70% adoption), after a decade running top-performing portfolios at LabCorp and Quest Diagnostics. On the other, I'm the founder of Zysco, an indie studio that has shipped 30+ apps to the App Store since 2008 — and my roots go back further: I started as an Apple Newton reseller in France in 1993, before "mobile" was a word anyone used. That combination shapes what I build today. My current focus is turning regulation into software: iDuerp operationalizes France's mandatory workplace risk-assessment requirement (DUERP), and OSHAid does the same for OSHA compliance in the US. Taking statutory text and transforming it into auditable, AI-assisted workflows that a small business owner can actually use — that's the hardest and most interesting product problem I've worked on. The thread running through it all is a belief that AI, applied with proper governance, can make large organizations — including government — dramatically faster, fairer, and more evidence-based. Having led AI adoption inside a regulated critical-infrastructure utility and built AI-driven compliance products from scratch, I've seen both what's possible and where the guardrails need to be.
